Elle Glasse

Elle is a French - American multimedia artist based in Seattle Washington. She uses painting, textiles, word art, and film to engage audiences by inviting them to move through each piece in their own time and through multiple lenses.  She was raised in Austin, Texas by two artists. Her relationship with art is personal, visceral, and necessary to my understanding of, and survival in, the world. This relationship informs every aspect of her practice and is what Elle hopes to share with her audience. Her work focuses on themes of rebellion, joy, multiplicity, engagement, feminism, and reciprocal care.
